1. Introduction

These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the NkazTech website (www.nkaztech.com), EasyQuote platform (easy-quote.nkaztech.com), and any services provided by NkazTech (Pty) Ltd ("NkazTech", "we", "us", or "our").

By accessing or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our services.

2. Definitions

  • "Service" refers to the EasyQuote invoicing platform and any related technology services provided by NkazTech.
  • "User" refers to any individual or entity that registers for or uses our Service.
  • "Premium Plan" refers to the paid subscription tier of EasyQuote.
  • "Free Plan" refers to the no-cost tier of EasyQuote with limited features.

3. Account Registration

To use EasyQuote, you must register an account and provide accurate, current, and complete information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

You must be at least 18 years old or have the legal authority to enter into a binding agreement on behalf of your business to use our services.

4. Services Provided

NkazTech provides the following services:

  • EasyQuote — an online invoicing and quoting platform for South African businesses
  • Software development and custom solutions
  • Cloud and DevOps services
  • Managed IT services
  • Cybersecurity and compliance consulting
  • Technology supply and procurement

5. EasyQuote Subscription Plans

5.1 Free Plan

The Free Plan provides access to core invoicing features including quote and invoice creation, client management, and PDF generation. Free plan documents include a NkazTech watermark.

5.2 Premium Plan

The Premium Plan is available at R50 per month (or as otherwise stated at the time of purchase). Premium features include: removal of watermarks, custom company logo upload, and custom brand colours on documents.

5.3 Free Trial

New users receive a 3-month free trial of Premium features. After the trial period expires, the account will revert to the Free Plan unless the user subscribes to Premium.

6. Payment Terms

Premium subscriptions are billed monthly via PayFast. By subscribing, you authorise PayFast to charge your selected payment method on a recurring monthly basis until you cancel.

All prices are in South African Rand (ZAR) and include VAT where applicable.

7. Cancellation

You may cancel your Premium subscription at any time. Upon cancellation:

  • Your Premium features will remain active until the end of the current billing period.
  • After the billing period ends, your account will revert to the Free Plan.
  • Your data (quotes, invoices, clients) will be retained and accessible on the Free Plan.

8. Data Ownership and Privacy

You retain full ownership of all data you input into EasyQuote, including client information, quotes, and invoices. We do not sell, share, or use your business data for any purpose other than providing the Service.

9. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to other users' accounts or data
  • Upload malicious files or code
  • Use the Service to send spam or fraudulent communications
  • Resell or redistribute the Service without written permission

10. Limitation of Liability

NkazTech provides the Service "as is" without warranties of any kind. We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you have paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

11. Service Availability

We strive to maintain 99.9% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may perform maintenance or updates that temporarily affect availability. We will provide reasonable notice of planned downtime where possible.

12. Intellectual Property

The NkazTech and EasyQuote names, logos, and software are the intellectual property of NkazTech (Pty) Ltd. You may not copy, modify, or distribute our software without written permission.

13. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, you may request an export of your data within 30 days.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Gauteng, South Africa.

15. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes via email. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
